Remember yesterday I talked about this upcoming Lunar Eclipse having a profound effect on the global and economic system? Just got this, from an astrologer who works with the financial markets:
The Aug. 16 eclipse at 26 degrees of Aquarius looks very bad for Wall Street, not the least because it squares the natal Sun of the New York Stock Exchange chart.
This is a system that underlies the day to day life of each one of us. It’s as ubiquitious as air, but it has sprung a leak that’s going to turn into a flood. This from a NY Times article today:
Cost-cutting in New York and London has already been brutal thus far this year, and there is more to come in the next few months. New York City financial firms expect to hand out some $18 billion less in pay and benefits this year than 2007, the largest one-year drop ever
All of this is not bad news. This is, after all, the system that sells Dark Knight burgers to toddlers at Hungry Jacks even though the movie is rated as only being suitable for people over 15 years of age. It also tells eight year old girls that it’s okay to dress like a ho so long as your clothes are pink and have sparkles on them.
One of the most important activations of the Lunar Eclipse on 16th August is that we need to see the positive in things. Now don’t go thinking this is one of the generic new age amorphisms. It’s more than a simple but ultimately empty exhortation to always look on the bright side of life.
It’s a very specific activation that shifts us out of a childhood based perception that we are being punished. You know how it goes. You’re just about to go out somewhere special and you spill coffee on your white shirt. And then your date rings and cancels because their dog is sick and you know they don’t have a dog. That’s life just being shitty for no good reason, right? Life just looked around, spotted you looking relaxed and happy, and decided to have a bit of fun because, well basically it was just a teensy bit bored.
We’re back to the chaos story again. When life feels chaotic and is not turning out as we’d planned we tend to see punishment. Instead, this Eclipse shifts our perception so that we are more likely to experience this process as a deeper process of change. Our lack of understanding of what’s going on simply means we need to wait out the process until we DO understand what’s going on.
In other words, we take responsibility for the creative process that is our life. Transits don’t just open a window to something and then slam it shut again, leaving us back where we were. It gives us a blast of something new and lets us breathe it in, soak it up, integrate and live it forever after.
Have no doubt that this Lunar Eclipse is about personal power. Mars is approaching a square to Pluto. Pluto is powering up our potency, aligning it will divine will. Not only because Pluto is the higher manifestation of the aggressiveness of Mars, but also because Pluto is sitting in the Centre for the Higher Self.
And here’s another big hint about what’s coming up for us. At the moment of the Eclipse, Mars is in the most wonderful feel good gate. It’s the gate that allows us to experience unconditional love through our physical body. It’s the Body as Temple of the Soul. When we use our willpower to treat our physical vehicles with love we will succeed in life in ways that do not make logical sense.
This shift is going to make way for a whole lot of kids to start being here. It’s tough for them now, the energy is so heavy. I’ll give you an example of what’s going on with a lot of kids these days. When asked if US multi-Olympic medal winner Michael Phelps was from another planet, his team mates replied – no he’s from the future. They are from the future but they’re here now and their purity is a big part of what’s creating this massive shift.
I was looking for an image for today’s blog and found this old one of my kids with their cousin on my sister’s Facebook. My two are on the left. Is it just me, or are they cute?

in love,
Kim Gould
