Now the New Moon is behind us we can take some time to consider the significance of that Mercury in the Sacral Centre.
Significant why? Because it’s connecting to Pluto in the G Centre. Pluto and Mercury together are activating half of the Centering Circuit, which has a huge impact on all of humanity.
The Centering Circuit (gates 34/10/25/51 for those who are interested) empowers us to honour our own convictions, to love ourselves and follow our unique path in life. It imparts a thrilling love of self. And it demands surrender to a future that cannot be known or planned.

When Mercury and Pluto get together we know that some deep and fundamental new concept is trying to break through.
Trying to cling to old ideas or to approach the shift by resorting to logical rational responses can leave you with a feeling of emptiness and futility.
Trying to think our way out of situations now is a Mercury trickster way of avoiding deep change that challenges long held status quos.
This energy rises up from deep within our cells. It won’t be contained by the mind.
This shift is changing the structure of our lives and Saturn is part of the story. Saturn is the planet of self discipline, limitations and manifestation on the earth plane. Saturn is in the Gate of Serendipity that says when you treat your body as a partner on your journey you will surely succeed in ways you never imagined.
Saturn is square Pluto just now. Also in the G Centre. The G Centre represents your life geometry, your soul direction, your sense of who you are and where you are going.
When Pluto is activated, in Stephen Arroyo’s words: “we are in a dimension so complex with such deep sources … that affects global consciousness … slightly out of the ordinary, a bit eccentric, and indicative of a realm of cosmic intensity that it boggles the mind”.
Pluto is activating the gate of doing only what you love. What effect is that having on the planetary consciousness? And on the Capricornian institutions that are the skeletal form of our culture?
Tomorrow, when Venus shifts to the Dragon Gate (1), it all gets access to the Throat Centre.
At the Throat we find the Earth activation in the Gate of Holding Together. Here we find a common purpose for our power, our creativity, our contribution to the collective.
And in that common purpose we all stop frigging around trying to fight and control each other and begin to work together as a fluid unit.
After all, as Ben Lee so rightly says, we’re all in this together.
