There’s one important element of the Mercury / Pluto link up that I didn’t mention yesterday and that is Goddess of the Hula, Haumea.
You might remember that Dwarf Planet and Hawaiian Goddess extraordinaire is in Gate 57. She doesn’t show up on the chart because conventional Human Design only works with a fixed set of planetary bodies and Haumea is not one of them.
Philip Sedgwick says Haumea brings a strong soulful confidence and this has been my experience while watching the transit points she touches.
Right now she’s in the Gate of Intuition. In the Spleen Centre, which is all about physical wellbeing. So, she’s giving us the soul confidence to listen to and act on our intuition. Even when it goes against what our logical and rational mind may tell us. Which it very often will!
There are deeper cultural messages embedded in Haumea’s archetypal energy about the way that we provide for each other on this planet. Short version is that when each one of us respects our intuitive sense of what keeps us well, food shortages will be a thing of the past.
And deeper still, we are body made of Fire and Spirit. We cannot be owned, we cannot bow down to any institution in our magnificence. Our intuition is the connection between our physical bodies and their inhabiting spirit. When we allow communication between the two we move beyond culture, beyond society. Commonplace things like bullying, humiliation, guilt and shame – all inherent in most systems of governance - become irrelevant. (She’s connecting with Pluto in Capricorn, sign of public institutions)
Today Venus has shifted into Gate 1. The Great Mother and Nurturer, Ceres, is already there adding enormous impetus to this intense and powerful transitary alignment.
Things that have affinity in their inmost natures seek one another. Water flows to what is wet, fire turns to what is dry. Clouds (the breath of heaven) follow the dragon, wind (the breath of earth) follows the tiger.

Today and tomorrow is about looking deep below the surface in your interactions with others to see where the connections are.
What is truly nurturing there, regardless of what it might look like?
What does your intuition tell you? What does your mind tell you? Your intuition is more reliable just now. Pause and allow it the space to whisper it’s long held secrets to you.
Tomorrow, just as Mercury moves on and removes the bridge between Sacral and Soul (G Centre), the Moon will conjunct Pluto.
Where we might have withdrawn, now we feel able to take something vulnerable, something long rebuffed, some rare treasure we have been holding in our heart, and carry it out into the world.
The Moon Pluto conjunct will open a doorway that may feel painful, but only because it brings the opportunity for the release of pain.

Indeed, Kim, they do walk the earth instead of dwelling underground all year round. Uncanniness used to be terrifying, it is now becoming increasingly familiar and exalting. The rainbow shimmers from the clouds to the earth at every footstep, an ark of alliance with other strata of existence.
