Saturn and Pluto ~ It’s all heart

by Kim Gould on November 22, 2009

Everyone is talking about the Saturn Pluto square.  With Human Design we have the added advantage of knowing that both Saturn and Pluto are in the G Centre.

The G Centre is such a rich space.  It’s part of our heart energy, but it doesn’t represent our emotions.  It’s in the very centre of our chest, but it isn’t related to the actual physical heart.

There are actually three centres that relate to the heart energy.  The Solar Plexus is our personal emotions.  The Heart Centre is our ego, our will, our courage.  The G Centre is something else, something more.

It’s the only one of the three that doesn’t have any tribal energy.  It’s all about the evolution of the individual into a collective being.  It is, in my mind, the collective heart.

Ceres is in Gate 1 (The Creative), also in the G Centre.  I’ve been wondering why I’ve been having such powerfully protective experiences around my own creativity lately and then …  duh!  realised … Ceres, who can represent the protective mother,  in the Gate of The Creative.

The whole Channel of The Creative is activated right now by the Earth in Gate 8 ~ a whole bunch of individuals coming together around  a unified idea ~ and Venus in Gate 1 ~ the most yang of yang, hidden treasure arising from the void.  That’s a powerful combination of ideas.

And of course, not on the chart but visible to us, Ceres also in Gate 1.

This channel has us (heart) aching to be all we can be, our unique and special self.  But in true Scorpionic fashion, with Pluto and Saturn sitting underneath all is not as it seems.  Both planets call for some form of self discipline.  Saturn demands we turn up fully present in the physical realm.  We do have to get up from our meditation cushion and get out into the world.  Pluto demands that we remain true to some deeper destiny and calling.  Together, well you can see where they are heading! It’s not all about floating along on a cloud of love and light.

This from Philip Sedgwick:

A longstanding observation I’ve held with Saturn and Pluto in combination, is that in a dharmic sort of way, they abundantly reward one’s efforts in life. Says hard line Saturn, “Get in and play with the powers that be or make yourself content remaining as a bystander.” Hard work, dedication and clear intention weave together to reveal a tapestry of completion and success.

17th January 2010

17th January 2010

I wanted to show you this chart, from 17th January 2010.

That’s the day Pluto shifts from the G Centre, where it has been since late 2007, to The Root Centre.  In the Gate of Joy (58).  True!

What do you imagine will happen to the planet when deeply transformative Pluto is sitting in the  Gate of Joy?

What’s wonderful, given Pluto’s astrological relationship with Saturn that continues until about August next year, is that Saturn will be there to meet Pluto when he arrives.

One month earlier, on 16th December, Saturn shifts to the Spleen Centre and moves into the Gate of Correction (18).

This is a very powerful gate and I can’t underestimate the effect of this partnership in shifting out old family patterns that prevent us from fully grounding on this planet.  This channel is all about feeling physically safe to be present in the moment.   (As opposed to the Neptune/Chiron/Jupiter/Uranus story in the Solar Plexus on the other side of the Root Centre which is about feeling emotionally safe.)

Tomorrow the Sun and Earth shift and everything changes again.  More then.  Hopefully it won’t be so damned hot and my brain will be clearer.
