Also, my 23 year old Son is having some pretty potent issues with me (I'm also cancerian) and there is definitely a power struggle on his part. It's a masculine thing because the relationship between infant girl and mother is extremely different to the relationship between infant boy and mother. For him the mother is other, something that can be taken from him, that he can be without. For her, the mother is more like a role model, something she has within her that she can bring out of herself and become. It's an incredibly complex subject and anything I write about it is almost too simplistic, but it is definitely a relationship issue that we will see more of as men begin to bring it to consciousness in greater numbers.
