A Divine Galactic Moment in Time

What happens when Mars meets Venus in the Channel of Initiation?  And an even bigger question, what happens when Venus is conjunct Uranus meeting Mars conjunct Jupiter in the Channel of Initiation?  What about when retrograde Mercury is part of the picture (being in the same Centre) and he is opposite Saturn? And when Jupiter and Mars are opposite Makemake?  Which is in turn square the North Node conjunct Quaoar and the Galactic Centre?

It’s enough to make your head spin and with Ceres in the Crown Chakra (gate 63) from today, your head may well be spinning.

This is an alchemical moment, a very large SHAZAM!  One of the reasons we’ve been so unable to fulfill our full divine potential is that our inner feminine and masculine have been separated from each other.  This week they get back together again.  But never like this before, we’re going Galactic along with all the other things we’re doing!  A global reunion of the galactic and divine creative energies – attraction meets desire!

This channel connects our personal ego selves with our bigger divine selves.  Can it get any more wonderful than that?  Even when we feel a bit like we’re cracking up? Because indeed we are, but finding love, connection and clarity underneath all those decrepit old ego defences we no longer need.

How is it playing out for you?  How is it affecting your Ji and Heart Centres?

The Galactic Doorway

18th January 2011

Watch the video for these transits.

This weeks Full Moon will open a gateway to the voice of the Galactic Centre.  What is that voice saying?  That it’s time to let go of projecting our issues onto others in order to defend our own vulnerable inner selves.  It’s a bit like the football idea of playing the ball not the player.  And for those who don’t play football of any persuasion, that means when you go in for a tackle your aim is to get the ball, not take down the player.  We’ve been taking each other down for millenium in our attempts to get the ball.

We are learning to detach from the negativity without blaming others or engaging in any old abuse dynamics of victim and perpetrator.  We are calling in a new co-creative power.  In doing so we are passing over a watershed that is of monumental significance.

Shifting to Collective Consciousness

We’ve almost completed the evolutionary shift from tribal (or community) to individual.  That shift has involved things like flower power, finding ourselves, free love and not having to be a shopkeeper just because your parents were.  We’ve moved out of traditional roles like husband and wife, and learnt we could love ourselves even when it seemed no one else did.

Now we are taking the next precarious step of bringing that new found individual self into the collective.  And that’s a bit scary because our group memory is tribal and something deep within us is sending out warning signals.  But that old version of loss of self is no longer possible.  We hold our unique spark at the soul level and no one can take it from us.

It is crucial just now that we dismantle the last vestiges of that tribal survival mind.  We are becoming conscious of any negative thoughts we are having about anyone, and are learning to ‘play the ball’ instead.  We need to untangle the negativity that we’ve wrapped around each other, to see that projecting it back and forward like a manic game of astral ping pong helps no one.

Root Centre

There is so much activity to the Root Centre – Pluto and Ceres, Mars and the Sun, Magdalena and Mercury, Apollo, Kassandra, Pallas and Nessus.  It goes on.  It’s a survival soup, because the Root Centre is where we hold the data we need to stay alive here on planet earth.  Only problem with that is – things are changing so quickly that our data is way out of date and so are the falsely conditioned  instinctive and emotional survival responses we’ve been limited to.

The Sun is in Gate 60 in the Root Centre with Sappho, suggesting we can move through limitations by finding the commonality with others rather than looking for differences.

Also in the Root Centre, Mars and Ceres in 41 are creating a channel with Chiron and Neptune in 30 accentuating the feeling of a lack of landmarks for what we may desire.  It’s as if we look around and can’t even see the building blocks we need to create the life we long for.  But the next few days – until 25th January –  are a time for pruning the deadwood away, rather than building something new.  Neptune tests our ability to stay with the flow rather than grab at the next bright shiny thing that bobs by on the flooded tide with the potential to keep us afloat.  Our vision of what we want needs to shatter and be replaced by the truth of where we are now and the magical involvement each one of us has in this precise moment.  And the next.  And the next.

The Moon and the Galactic Centre

The Moon and Earth are in Gate 56 in the Throat Centre.  It brings the energy of the Galactic Centre (in Gate 11.5 in the Ajna) to the Throat for expression.   This is a difficult gate, bringing a feeling of being a stranger travelling through a strange land.

There are no other minor planets in Gate 56, accentuating the Moon’s loneliness there.  It’s as if our innocent and childlike selves are wandering around trying to make sense of a new landscape.  There are certainly issues here of abandonment and/or the isolation required to stay safe when we can’t make sense of what’s going on around us.  Kassandra’s involvement suggests that we feel cursed in not being seen and believed, as if our innate perceptions are considered suspect by everyone we meet, and so we’re not sure if we can rely on them or not.

There’s one minor planet in Gate 11 with the Galactic Centre – Vesta.  She of holding true to our own sovereignty, of knowing our own sacred truth against all attempts to degrade it. There is something very significant here for me – the process of ‘defrocking’ the Vestal Virgins was one of stripping the sacred from our sexual relationships.  In a sense it rendered our relationships powerless and sterile.  Vesta at the Galactic Centre has the capacity to restore them.  The regeneration of Vesta also represents our ability to maintain our own inner sacred creative flame and a warm nurturing hearth and home.

The Flood

Poseidon arising from the flooded Brisbane River

The New Moon back on 4th January was a trigger for a sticky web of emotional toxicity to be released.  And then came the flood – well at least here in Australia.  Poseidon, Deucalion (the Greek Noah) and Ceto, an aquatic monster symbolizing the fears of the unconscious mind and a tendency to feel sorry for ourselves.  All in Gate 26 (which means they are connecting in with Saturn and Haumea in the Spleen Centre).

They create a channel with Quaoar in Gate 44, who brings the ability to break out of limitation to create something that’s pretty damn close to the purity of our vision, our original template. How?  By celebrating life, singing and dancing and going with the flow and allowing each moment to be new.

The floods here in Australia started when Mercury passed over transiting Quaoar.  The thing most people have commented on is the amazing community spirit they have brought out in people.  That energy was held very strongly by the Queensland Premier Anna Bligh who walked a brilliantly fine line of calm and clarity.   Like Obama, who made a brilliant speech after the shooting in Tucson Arizona, Bligh has her Neptune in Gate 44.   They both displayed the ability to speak to the wounded (Chiron is conjunct Neptune just now) while holding to our highest ideals.

Just as Noah was told the floods would cleanse humanity, so these events have enabled us to look more closely at our inhumane treatment of each other.  Sledging political opponents, passing neighbours on the street without a hallo.   Both events speak to a new energy for collective coming together.

Soul Relationships

There’s every type of ‘abuse’ imaginable sitting in the transits at the moment, most noticeably to me is Transpluto (intense critisism) in Gate 29 in the Sacral Chakra meeting Juno (relationships), Typhon (a multiheaded monster who seems impossible to defeat) and the Super Galactic Centre (triggering a search for our soul mates) in adjoining Gate 46 at the G Centre.

This is significant because Pluto and Saturn are being brought together by Nemesis in Gate 18.  This is a gate that is way out of control on this planet, but basically has as its base the ability to see what is wrong with things.  Combined with Saturn in 57 it brings a piercing sword of truth that hurts like hell.  Nemesis can make us feel like we’ve come up against this pain over and over again and will never be able to move past it.   It’s not the truth that’s the problem, but the way we’ve been wielding the sword.

In our relationships we are perhaps involved in intense projection of our own wounded lack of wholeness caused by:

  • feeling unfairly critisised by others
  • not having a way to explain to those we love what we perceive to be wrong with our lives and what we need to make it better.

And I know this is probably enough, but just let me add one more ingredient to the mix.  The Sun in Gate 60 is meeting the M-32 galaxy in Gate 3.  This galaxy is a satellite to the Andromeda galaxy.  According to Philip Sedgwick the core idea here is the paradox of being whole and alone as a way of coming closer to others.  When we live in our own truth we generate a field that naturally attracts all manner of soul mates to us.   Gate 3 is a gate of new beginnings so subtle that few can feel its energy except as chaos and confusion, but the shift has definitely landed.

My friends and I have often joked over the years as we’ve moved through our ‘shadow’ and ‘inner child’ stuff that we must surely be scraping the bottom of the barrel now!  We’ve given up wondering about that, but there is definitely a sense of that in these transits.  We really are becoming incredibly clear and calm and self sufficient within ourselves even if it does feel like we’re going mad sometimes!   The next few days may feel strange and we may at times feel quite alone, but we’re all alone together and that will become apparent soon.

Trusting our Innocent and True Selves

Our true intuitive responses to life and our deep emotional wisdom are being called forth.  We can trust ourselves.  When we do, remarkable things happen.  Here’s the last word from Hilary Barrett’s I Ching – Jupiter in Gate 25.

When there are obstacles, perhaps when the free flow of communications is blocked, this does not mean it is your job to engage and grapple with the problem.  Making progress is not the same thing as clearing blockages – not when you can simply walk past them, disentangled and move on.

Video Blog for 11th January

Enjoy the video take on today’s transits.  Just one note, Haumea is in Gate 57 line 4 (not line 5 as I say in the video).

Your Golden Ticket

16th December 2010

I must be crazy … crazzz eeeyy. And my excuse? An upcoming solstice preceded by a Galactic Centre activation and accompanied by a full lunar eclipse. Feel free to lose the plot anytime you like. Actually, you probably won’t be surprised to know that there is a huge opportunity to make a choice wrapped up in this package. It’s almost as if the conductor is calling “All Aboard” and we’re prevaricating. Do we want to leave behind the devil we know and set out for new lands? Is that ticket to ride that’s burning a hole in our pocket a winner? Or perhaps something more sinister?

Ross Hilbert ~ www.Flickr.com

Let’s see if we can map out some of this new territory and make the choice a bit easier.

Firstly, let me say that the December Solstice (summer here for us in Australia, winter for many of you), is always preceded by the Sun passing over the Galactic Centre at 27 Sagittarius. Think of it as an early Christmas present each year, as we are all impulsed with at least one amazing idea that probably manifests weeks later as a new years resolution.

Secondly, the solstice always occurs in Gate 10 line 2, or occasionally in line 1. It talks about treading calmly and without attachment to the world, not trying to have any effect on others but simply living in your own truth.

This year the North Node happens to be transiting in Gate 10 as well, adding the flavour of an unknown destiny to the mix. We also have the lunar eclipse which is not a usual fixture. Eclipses in astrology are portals that allow something new to enter our reality. A lunar eclipse is about being able to receive in order to find greater integration of self. In our culture we are so out of balance towards giving that many of us have lost the ability to be still and simply receive unconditionally. This imbalance affects us on all levels as lack (not receiving), loss (doing without) and greed (trying to take by force what we felt naturally entitled to but were unable to unconditionally receive). In this milieu we have begun to confuse taking with receiving. Which creates problems because the act of taking comes from the mental/ego self while the ability to receive comes from the soul.

I’m doing research on the endocrine system just at the moment and it is so obvious how these factors also have a profound effect on our physical health and emotional wellbeing.

Overall, what’s happening now is that we are descending into our physicality. When I say ‘descending’ I’m talking about anchoring much higher densities of love and light into our bodies than they’ve ever experienced before. Notice I say love and light, it’s the combination of the two coming in at once that is creating that swirly feeling of not knowing which way is up. As we stitch duality back together, love and light become entwined until we can no longer see them as separate. Masculine and feminine, heart and mind, body and soul, time and space, good and evil all swirl and blend until there is only heaven on earth.

In terms of the activations to the Spleen Centre, this is opening up our ability to communicate with others and discern the truth in entirely new ways. Our bodies are basically communication centres that have been largely shut off from their true expansive capacity to interact with life.

Which means that the gifts we mastered in previous lives have not been readily available for us to share. Leaving us all impoverished, trapped, in a sense, without access to our soul wisdom.

This year at the Solstice, the Sun makes strong astrological connections to Uranus, Neptune, Chiron, Makemake, Juno, Kassandra and Magdalena as it passes over the Galactic Centre and moves towards it’s date with the Moon. Chiron and Neptune (30.3) together give a natural sense of the unified reality from which the world of form derives and to which it eventually returns (Melanie Reinhart). Makemake brings us new skills for creating such an abundant material reality that it looks like impossible magic to those who take a more “logical” view.

Juno and Magdalena are seeking equality – Juno in relationship and Magdalena in spiritual leadership. They are both seeking to be reunited with the beloved, in whatever form that takes. What they hold in common with Kassandra is a desire to have their voices heard without having to compromise to old and outmoded ideas of what constitutes the feminine, and without succumbing to the power issues inherent in gender roles in our communities.

All three are seeking to be given the time and space to honour and be receptive to the inner self, a rare commodity for most of us most of the time.

Pan is conjunct the Moon at the moment the Sun touches the Galactic Centre. He brings in the juicy masculine who has a powerful and receptive relationship to the feminine, the soul and nature. He is nothing like the masculine informed by harsh rationality.

Trans Neptunian Object Logos (6.4) and Atlantis (46.2) make themselves obvious as well. Our desire for love is being syphoned off and used to keep us in thrall to the apparent economic miracle of capitalism to provide everything we could possibly need. I’m also noticing a rise in the awareness of the effect of cult thinking. You’re either in or out and only those who are in will be loved and saved (Damocles, Nessus and Orpheus in 13.5). Watch for apparently logical information that somehow squeezes your heart dry while weirdly appealing to your mind. This is a glamour and delusion that is leaving the planet as our body and heart come together to inform us of multidimensional truth.

There really is a simple underlying principle at work here. You are nourished at the soul level and that nourishment flows down into every aspect of your life. It doesn’t stop at the Crown, at the mind or heart. It goes right down through your toes, into the heart of the earth and then wells back up, full of love, to nourish you afresh. There is no lack when we live in this place. There is no need for struggle, or to experience loss or greed. We have chosen the golden ticket for this experience and each one of us can choose whether we take the ride.

Gateway To The Garden

The landscape shifts like sticky mud under our feet as we try to hold our ground.  December dishes up the unexpected, as if we have been searching in the garden for a particular plant and suddenly wander through a gate to find ourselves in another garden entirely.  Reacquainting ourselves with our new environment needs to be our main focus for the next few weeks.  Who knows what wonders we’ll find there!

Lift Off by AussieGall on www.Flickr.com

Yesterday’s New Moon was conjunct The Great Attractor (5), and the Full Moon on 20th is in the same channel (15).   This channel is the only one activated on 21st December 2012, and it deals with the opening of time dimensions and a re-balancing of the masculine and feminine energy.  Time both speeds up and slows down, warping space and our sense of self.  Being ‘at home’ becomes a soul journey rather than a real estate transaction.

Human Design Transits for 6th December 2010

There’s a whole pile of things going on in the chart right now.  With the Earth in Gate 35, we are able to express our emotions directly and immediately.  Usually a transit to this channel leads to emotional outbursts, but this time the planetary influences have created a deeper slower expression.

In the emotional centre, Neptune is conjunct Chiron in Gate 30.  These two have been travelling together since 2008.   In this gate they seem to be bringing up old emotional wounds to our sense of needs and wants and desires.  They are giving us a reality check on our fantasies, and in this way creating the conditions for instant manifestation.  If what we want isn’t really what we want, but just a glamourous fantasy (think Ferrari), then we will have subconscious resistance.

Feeling wounded about not getting what we want focuses our attention on this question over and over again – is that what I really want?  Or perhaps we could put it this way – if that Ferrari turned up in the driveway right now, would it make me any happier?

There’s a deep but mistaken belief here that we need to rely on others to get what we want.  And this involves manipulation of them (but muuuummmmm!!, why can’t I have it!!!!) and of ourselves as well, as we shift and twist to make ourselves the right shape to attract what we believe we need.  And because we haven’t yet quite mastered the manifestation dance, we never got to do the bit where we learn how to distinguish our true desires from our “childish” fantasies.   We are filling in the dots now.

The second emotional issue is Jupiter and Uranus in Gate 36.  There is a sense here of feeling that our emotional selves are quite mad, they just won’t listen to reason or comply nicely with our ego goals.  And they are making it difficult for us to fit in with the old concept of time.  If I feel emotional and can’t get my work done by 5pm, is that wrong of me?  Waiting for emotional clarity isn’t something we can get sorted by making to-do notes in our diary.  It’s much more receptive than that, and this is where the feminine integrative aspect of self can’t live within the prison of our current time frames.

That suppressed emotional energy is like a powerful horse that will ride in and carry you forward exactly as you desire (36.2).  But our addiction to mechanical time keeps it locked away where it can’t topple the order of our neat and tidy lives.  Without that power we find even walking is difficult (there are so many hexagrams that talk about not being able to walk just now!).  We rely instead on the false ‘horsepower’ of our imaginary Ferrari, living on fantasies where the real thing is waiting for us in an adjacent and parallel time universe.

The third highly significant event is Pluto (58) and Saturn (48) making a sandwich with Gate 18 being the delicious filling.  Gate 18 is a profound gate of DNA healing that affects us on the mental and physical levels.  Pluto (and Mercury about to retrograde) are letting us know that joy is our natural birthright.  I want to quote from 58.1 in Hilary Barrett’s excellent I Ching:

This is the promising beginning of a conversation: not mere self-expression, but the capacity to listen and respond.  You foster trust, and make mutual enrichment possible, by opening up your inner space to exchange.

The foundation for this responsive communication is autonomy and self-reliance: it means that you have something to give, and that you can create a harmonious connection that is not dominated or distorted by what people need from one another.

This is a channel that deals with our relationship to authority – tribal leaders both matriarchal and patriarchal.  There is a potential rigidity being cleared from our energetic fields as we realise that we are safe to connect with the depths of our own horsepower, our own truth and confidence (Saturn in 48.6).  Again from Hilary Barrett,

Water flows strongly into this well from underground sources.  It’s an image of effortless plenty; the water rising in the well, gathering even more as you draw from it – a constant dependable flow.

It might seem safer to cover the well.  You might want to hold yourself apart from the flow of giving and receiving for fear of losing your freedom and autonomy in the constant exchange.  Yet only when you remove the barriers and become part of the flow can you experience the true essence of the situation and tap into it’s deeper potential.

It’s hard to believe that we could be safe in a world where we can wait for the goodness and joy to surface naturally.  It’s difficult to trust that we have all we need within us to manifest what we truly desire without struggle or manipulation.   The Moon is passing over the Galactic Centre (11.5) later today and that is likely to bring new ideas that have you stepping into the next part of that journey into your new garden.

Tending Your Inner Flame

20th July 2010

Mars has moved into the emotional zone and hit us in our intimate relationships.  Especially for those with activations in the adjoining Gate 59, this is a powerful influence.  Gate 6 in the Human Design chart holds many emotions and seeks to bring together our emotional and sexual/creative natures.  Not an insignificant process!

Mars transits affect our emotional boundaries.  And Gate 6 represents … our emotional boundaries.  Shazam!  This is the place where we allow our ego to dissolve and open up to greater intimacy or we get angry and defensive and shut down.

Also in Gate 6 is the dwarf planet Makemake.  One of the most significant aspects of Makemake in this gate is our memory of some ideal time, when we received warmth and emotional intimacy in abundance.  It’s possibly found in recollections of our childhood or an early relationship.  And then it was taken away from us and we have been mourning for it, searching for it ever since.

Both Orcus and Apollo are in Gate 59 at the moment.  Apollo can show how we lost our natural voice within our family dynamic and, in Gate 59, how we may have projected that into our relationship dynamic.  Orcus is also a potentially threatened aspect of self, stuck in the underworld and unable to return through lack of recognition that this part of ourselves even exists.

Neptune and Chiron are also in the Solar Plexus Centre affecting our emotions.  Neptune has been on a 2 year mission to clear delusion from our lives, to help us to see clearly what it is that really makes us happy.  To move us past trying to manifest the red ferrari or billionaire husband and into something more authentic.  This week Mars brings Neptune’s focus to our relationships.

Ceres and Saturn play important roles here as well.  Ceres is in Gate 11 (activated this week by the Earth in Gate 56), approaching the Galactic Centre.  It’s as if our grief and sense of isolation and loneliness (Ceres) is being sucked out of our hearts (Galactic Centre), to be replaced by .. well we know not what as yet, we can only imagine the connections we can make with each other when this process is complete.  Saturn is approaching the Super Galactic Centre and about to receive an activation from Mercury next week.  It speaks along the same lines – the release of old worn out ideas of relationship that are not warm and intimate and inviting but cold, austere and functional.  Economic rather than earthy.

The Golden Bough by Jeroen van Valkenburg courtesy of Wikimedia

Mars is being followed closely by Vesta, currently in the Gate of Exhaustion (47).  Vesta asks us to tend our own inner flame, to release any ideas that say we must neglect it for the sake of others.

Venus is just completing her stay in the Heart Centre in the Gate of Deliverance, again with a theme of exhaustion – when we feel we have tried too hard over too long a time to win love and acceptance we simply lose the will to go on.  We have to rest and recuperate before things will return to something approaching normal.

The fire of Mars is a gift, giving us the courage to pull back inside our own skin, to look into our own heart and see the walls we have built that prevent us from having a loving intimate realationship with ourselves.  Using Mars for reckless movement or energetic defence will cause us to miss a profound opportunity for love and connection this week.

It’s almost as if we have completed a stage of our evolutionary journey in relationship and now we get to rest, recuperate and tend our own inner flame.  We should only be drawn into the world if the impulse feels fully alive (Eros in 64) and not another go at trying to ‘make it happen’ (Sisyphus in 64).

We’re 6 days out from another go at the Pluto T-Square.  Nothing is as it seems!  Allow life to inform you rather than you trying to shape life.   What matters most is not the form something takes, but your sincerity.

The Luminous Transformation of The Diabolical Self

Here’s something that’s always fascinated me.  People’s fear of having no rules.  I am always being given reasons, really good reasons, as to why we need rules.  It’s the only way we can keep the evil in check.  Not you and me, mind you, but those bad people out there.  My beautiful Facebook friend Jeanie raised the issue for me again last week.

And hey, we only have to look around to see that there are people out there doing bad things.  Last night on the news a woman was shot on the front steps of her home by some unknown assailant.  The police are asking for witnesses.  Monsanto is high on my list of nerry-doers.  And I think BP checks a lot of boxes for people just now.

If you read this blog regularly you’ll know I like to look deeper, delve beneath the surface.  Especially when the Earth is sitting on my Moon in the Gate of Bringing the Invisible to Visibility, as it is today.

And what I see here is a fear of our own evil selves, the one’s that we fear will get out of control and wreak havoc in our own lives and in the lives of those we love.  Our diabolical self.

We can usually find our diabolical self if we get out the rule book from our childhood and read it.  Hidden between the thou shalt not’s and the don’t you ever’s and the you know I love you when you’s we can find it lurking.  But our diabolical self is not easy to discover, because it has survived so long by going deep underground, by hiding in shadows and slipping away when we turn our gaze in it’s direction.   It’s principle source of nourishment is our shame.  The shame that says that this completely natural and innocent aspect of ourselves is not okay, not loveable, not worthy of inclusion in our day to day life.

I found my diabolical self this morning by asking myself these questions:  Why am I not loveable?  Why am I a failure?  Why am I not allowed to do what I want?  Why am I not allowed to nurture myself?  My diabolical self came straight up to the surface, lured by the bait of shame, and answered me very clearly.  I am dangerous, I am destructive, I am hateful, vengeful and out of control.

So there you have it!  What is reflected back to me about the truth of who I am.  Out in the light for all to see!  Luminously transformed by the light of day.

Doesn’t the world ‘diabolical’ roll beautifully off the tongue.  I am diabolical.  I checked it’s meaning and it perhaps means to pass beyond.  The word devil could perhaps have originally meant a fierce and wild warrior.  It’s not really clear, but certainly there has been a ‘fundamental’ shift in the meanings of many words, creating an oversimplification of life that reduces our options for how we live it. (http://nineangles.wordpress.com/diabolic-etymology/)

I’m writing about this now because today we are having a major shift and I’m not even going to look for it in the transits because I can’t be bothered going into the mental energy.  That’s just how BAAAD I am!   This is the first day in many years that I’ve been asked to step out of my day to day life and just hold the energy.  Just sit, breathe and feel.

Here’s the crux.  The rules of patriarchy are breaking down and your inner authentic self is escaping.  What happens when a whole lot of planets pass over the Aries point?  We shift out of the prison (Pisces) of the old and into new terrain (Aries).  What happens when a whole lot of largely ignored dwarf planets hook up with super massive black holes?  We get something so new we don’t even recognise it yet.  And in this new energy, the old evils are so apparent there is no sleight of hand possible, no invisible power plays, no theft, rape or environmental calamity that isn’t clearly visible for what it truly is.

Some part of you that has felt itself imprisoned is coming out into the world.  Not the old world, it’s very release represents a new way of being.  It doesn’t need rehabilitation, that would take it back into the old judgments where it would remain ‘diabolical’ rather than a wild and courageous warrior of spirit.  It simply needs to hear these words “You are welcome here.”

A Day of Massive Integration

Does it feel like you’re being sucked into a whirlpool? Or perhaps racing down a ravine on a flimsy raft? Both of these images make sense.

Apart from the obvious – Cosmic Cross, sitting between two eclipses – we have lots of dwarf planet and black hole action going on. Plus Mars and Venus are playing out an ancient story right before our eyes. Let’s go have a closer look.

Our galaxy revolves around the sun. Which revolves around the Galactic Centre. Which itself revolves around the Super Galactic Centre. Wheels within wheels. And then we have the super massive black hole called The Great Attractor. So what?

All three black holes are impacting hugely upon us right now.

Let’s start with the Galactic Centre. In the Human Design Chart it’s in the Ajna Centre in Gate 11, which is about Heaven and Earth coming together. And sitting right there keeping it company just now is the very important dwarf planet, Ceres.

The Galactic Centre is like a giant vacuum cleaner that sucks out all your old subconscious ideas and replaces them with new ones. We simply have to look at the planet making contact with it to see what kind of ideas are getting removed and to know what they’re getting replaced with. Ceres represents the places within us that haven’t been nurtured and nourished, plus loss and grief, and anything to do with food.

This pressures us to release old ideas that don’t feel good and to learn new ways of thinking about ourselves and our lives. Thinking nurturing thoughts, releasing grief at not being loved.

Moving through space and time, we arrive at the Super Galactic Centre and find …. Saturn! In the Human Design Chart the Super Galactic Centre is in Gate 46 in the G Centre. The Super Galactic Centre wants us to find a soul mate. Not in the romantic sense and not even necessarily in the love sense. It wants us to have stable loving and creative relationships, starting with our relationship with ourselves.

This is the Gate of Pushing Upwards and it’s story is that of a seedling pushing up through the soil towards the light and warmth of the sun. The seedling doesn’t really know where it’s headed or what it will find when it gets there.  All it knows is that it must make the effort and it must move towards warmth and light.  Saturn helps us release old self imposed limitations to relating, peeling off heart armouring, and supports us to build solid stable and supportive long term loving creative relationships.

And The Great Attractor?  It’s in the Sacral Centre in Gate 5, Waiting for Nourishment.  And it’s joined by a Centaur called Ixion.   Eric Francis describes Ixion quite eloquently as “a total asshole”. Astrologer Nick Anthony Fiorenza makes this revealing comment:

“… at the least [Ixion] would also seem to be related to the suppression, manipulation, and the exploitation of women. And more specifically about those in authoritarian positions being brought to justice for deeds involving the suppression and manipulation of people, especially women, as well as the the tyrannical destruction of people for one’s own end.”

To his credit, Ixion appears to be using the immense power of The Great Attractor to reveal the way in which a certain sort of powerful, authoritarian asshole has been operating to our detriment right under our very eyes. Even to the point of having us play a part in our own destruction.   It’s as if the oil spill has drawn massive attention and now we are all on a path of unravelling, being drawn into The Great Attractor’s energy field with no hope of escaping until the story is complete.

So that’s the black holes.  But with all that going on, they are only part of the story.  Remember the Cardinal Cross?  It’s gotten bigger.  Crosser?  Because Pluto has now joined all the other players in the G Centre.  Jupiter and Uranus, Saturn and Pluto – three of the four points of the Cross (Jupiter and Uranus are both at one point) – are in the G Centre, which is all about the way we connect to each other.

8th July 2010

Have a look at the connections in the chart today.   If we add in the dwarf planets Ceres, Haumea and Eris, we have a connection from Root to Ajna with the Spleen Centre included as well.   Let’s take account of Vesta in Gate 64 in the Crown,  dwarf planets Orcus and Makemake in 59/6 connecting the Sacral Centre to the Solar Plexus Centre, and the Centaur Bienor (the Strong Man) in Gate 51 – Shock – bringing in the Heart Centre and we have all 9 centres activated without having to resort to anything beyond the very sigificant cosmic players.

I’m not going to try to go over all the aspects, because it would make our brains explode on this amazing day.  Let’s just leave it this overview.

It may feel like something beloved is being removed from our lives, although we may not know what it is.  We may feel as if we are heading into a personal dark night or a global apocalypse.  This is Ceres demanding her dues as Earth, potentially releasing an outpouring of emotional energy (via Makemake and Orcus in the Solar Plexus emotional centre).    If we want to be a part of this earth play, we have to acknowledge our part in it.  We do this through our bodies and this brings Venus into the picture.

In the Feminine Mojo Teleseries, Venus was a revelation, a powerful new influence, re-emerging into our lives.  Both light and dark, morning and night.  In the Sacral Centre just now she takes hold of our energy and demands we use it in her service, and this may involve going into a personal dark night on the way to our own new dawn.  Venus tells us that we cannot live without love and beauty.  Ceres allows us to grieve for the times we have had to do so.

It drives me crazy when I read that a Venus transit means we’re going to feel lazy and spend too much money!  How this trivialises us!  Lazy is the new creative!   Money is the new abundance!   No more slavery to the protestant work ethic and doing without so that a handful of powerful people can suck up all our earthly goodness for themselves.

There is rising up a joyful, erotic and loving energy from this womb-like depth.   It is unsinkable.  It’s is unstoppable.  It’s a Venusian force of nature.  As Venus tells us in The Abyss (gate 29) we only have to flow with the rushing river through the abyss to reach the ocean.  We don’t need to try to heroically climb the sides of the ravine, or struggle to move rocks that appear to obstruct us.  It’s all in the flow and letting the water carry us on.

Mars in the Gate of Oppression and Exhaustion is instrumental for the next few days.  He is making us angry and overwhelmed.  He is probably making our head spin as he asks us to dig into our anger to dicsover the point at which it transforms to become our passion.

This is not a time to repress your rage, the world needs your fire to protect what’s rightly yours.  And mine.  And ours.   It’s the key to moving out of thoughts that will otherwise cause our own extinction.    Mars is bringing wild dreams of destruction, blood, and release from servitude.

The next eclipse is going to happen right on top of Eris, so we’ll leave her till then.  Take it easy today and enjoy the birthing of an amazing new world of creative connection, love and an erotic sensual expression of life!
