HD transits 21 – 27 June

What are you seeding into reality?

You know that thing where you can make anything happen if you want it enough and work hard enough? Let’s all agree to stop doing that to ourselves. Our ideas about individuality are changing, and with them our belief that we have to exhaust ourselves to find and live our purpose.

This week the Human Design transits let us know we are moving out of the overwhelm, the triggering of past trauma, the feeling of not being able to articulate our purpose, and into a clearer space. Although we are only at the beginning, its an important part of the cycle. We are creating the weft that future generations will use to weave a new culture.

This week is the perfect time to notice what you have outgrown, to reflect on what personal changes life is calling forth from you. We are planting seeds that will germinate if we let go of our old notions of individuality and align with the greater creative process.

Jupiter wants you to meander!

Jupiter shifts into the Gate of Returning (24) this week. This is the law of change in operation, a tipping point in the cycle where things begin, imperceptibly, to go your way. But if you push and try to make things happen, you miss the point of the change – to bring yourself into harmony with a greater creative energy which is drawing you into relationship.

Gate 24 can bring up anxiety, a deep sense of being on the wrong pathway. But it’s also the promise that if you keep RETURNING, again and again, you benefit from your meanderings. Jupiter in Gate 24 wants you to wander about, smell the roses, watch the sunset, chat to the interesting people you meet. It wants you to bring all of these experiences back to your authentic core and weave all of what you discover into a brand new sense of self.

The Nodes bring New Cultural Beginnings

The Nodes shift as well, into the Gate of New Beginnings (North Node in gate 3) and the Gate of The Cauldron (South Node in gate 50), where they will be till 27 August. The transiting North Node shows our collective evolutionary edge, the transiting South Node shows past experience we can draw from to guide us in uncertain times. We are learning to partner with the chaos and uncertainty (3), understanding that we can shape it into a new culture that embraces the sacred nature of human consciousness (50).

The North Node (in gate 3) is meeting up with Pluto (in gate 60), activating the Channel of Mutation. Don’t underestimate this! Minor Planet Arawn is there, in Gate 60. Being a Saturnian-type, Arawn can be quite serious. His ultimate gift lies in his strong desire to be fully integrated into his authentic self, even if this means going it alone.

Arawn was the Welsh ruler of the otherworld kingdom of Annan. He is an OTHERWORLD god, not an underworld god like Pluto. He rewards, rather than punishes, and it seems to me, in our context for the next few weeks while the North Node is hanging around, that Arawn is letting us know we can’t be integrated and authentic without delving into our own otherworldly aspects of self. We find Arawn’s shadow side in a tendency to isolate ourselves and live in our own magical world. There is a delicate balance here – bringing in the magic of other dimensions without losing touch with what we might call reality.

Treading Modestly – the Sun & Earth this week

For most of this week, the Sun is in the Gate of Modesty (gate 15, aka Integrity, Extremes). The Earth is in the Gate of Treading (gate 10).

The transiting Sun shows the place where the collective is drawing on a renewed sense of self. In Gate 15 we are learning to let go of small selfish concerns and discovering that we are part of a meta-evolution, changing the very rules of life. How we respond to chaos and change matters this week. The hexagram for this gate is Earth over Mountain – Mountains represent processes so gradual they seem timeless. The message is clear – even those things, like the mountains, that we consider permanent and timeless will, in their own time, come to an end.

We can see these endings in other places in this weeks Human Design transits.

I’m intrigued that one of the key messages of Gate 15 is Integrity, which lines up with minor planet Arawn. Arawn, however, takes us into the multidimensional realm to find that integrity.

The South Node is just shifting from the Gate of Overwhelm (28) – a realisation that we can’t keep the whole of life alive through hard work without cease. Even what is permanent will eventually falter and fall down around us. Uranus is in the Gate of Splitting Apart (23) where life strips away what is no longer sustainable. Haumea is in the Gate of the Cauldron (50) applying alchemy to our culture, seeking higher possibilities that feed, rather than starve, our souls.

This week is a good time to ask the question – where is that mountain within me? Where is the aspect of self that I may be holding onto, because I consider it a permanent part of me? How is time eroding it? And what does it mean for that to come to an end? What newly germinating seed can I plant in the earth at it’s crumbling base?

There is a humbling in this. We don’t have to be the mountain, standing tall. We can be the simple pile of earth at it’s base. Our value is in nourishing the seed, rather than being an imposing landscape seen by all.

The transiting Earth activation shows the place where the collective is coming more deeply into the imperfection of its humanity, and discovering connections that were previously unseen.

In Gate 10, we are learning how self-love may have been protecting us from knowing who we really are. How could that even be a thing? Surely self-love is always a good thing? Well, just at it’s very edges, sometimes self-love becomes a kind of inner refuge, where we try to love ourselves by keeping the world at bay. It creates isolation, rather than connection. Isolation is such a major theme for us from 2020 through to 2025. It causes us to try too hard, to tread too far, too fast. We try to be the hero in our own lives, to save ourselves. And so we miss the connections and resources that life abundantly bestows upon us, creating a smaller, blander world despite our immense personal efforts.

Our mission this week is the alchemical process of creating a higher expression of human civilisation. So, nothing much! This week, our true dreams open us to other dimensions of reality, and spark new aspirations. It requires courage to see who treads with us as we test the boundaries of what is possible.

We discover that chaos is our partner, uncertainty creates opportunity and we can move in harmony with power and intensity. Gate 10 is a kind of mobius strip, where we have to believe in our own dreams, and learn to walk that path, differentiating grand ideals from our daily stepping towards their realisation. This is how we can shift fantasy to lived reality. As we meander and return, we discover new friends, new ideas, new ways of experiencing our own authentic expression. And always, we do it together.

  1. Wow… again Kim, thank you for being here doing you with such impeccability at during these eternally precious times. Your Light supports my mission unutterably

    1. Sandra, love to you. It’s my honor to be able to support others who change other peoples’ worlds (as well as the physical world we share).

  2. I love this!! Thank you Kim.
Pluto transiting my Moon. Jupiter transiting my Chiron and Haumea transiting my Venus 💕 Just to name a few 😁
    Such an exciting time.

  3. Hi Kim, this is soooo perfect, thank you! This: ‘We don’t have to be the mountain, standing tall. We can be the simple pile of earth at it’s base. Our value is in nourishing the seed, rather than being an imposing landscape seen by all.’ nearly made me weep with a deep recognition and a relief…

And, as you said, I ‘will be soon standing on new ground’, and my next/impending home move now looks to be from a 3 bedroom’d house to 35 x 11 feet of living space on a barge near the sea (!!!!)…. So, this blog is going to be read twice daily at least for the companionship, clarity, and encouragement it offers.

Thank you for all you do, offer and gift us. (And I met a new friend last week and found we had several friends in common (out of the blue), and then also HD. And she asked who….and I said you….and she said, ‘Well, I can’t think why I asked!’, because she follows you, too…! (Hi D, if you see this!) Such synchronicities happening already!

    Love to you, Kim. Annie.

      1. Thank you, Kim! Yes, sure feels an adventure – but I keep swerving between the sense of adventure being a trip to Vanuatu and climbing Everest or sailing around the world! 😀 / 😮 But I’m having fun renaming ‘thinking of sensible and helpful ideas in a mad act’ to ‘being really brilliantly creative’ – much nicer! <3

  4. Oh my goddess! I was crying when I read the heading 😂 knowing full well that this post was going to hit home and it did. It’s the culmination of things building for me and this morning I woke up not feeling like being here because it’s all too hard. And then, came the unravelling, as always. I can feel the weight lifting and the tension leaving. Thank you Kim. I love your insight, your words and the pictures you choose in your posts. Magnificent.

    1. Kellie I’m so happy to help with your process of moving through such powerful times. And I’m glad you like the pictures, one of my favourite things each week is choosing the images for the posts 🌺.
