What’s Goin’ On?
Even if I tried I couldn’t cover everything that’s going on just now and do it any kind of justice. There’s major ‘events’ in the Ji Centre, the Solar Plexus Centre, the Spleen Centre.
Here’s a quick run down for you.
Ji Centre
Mercury conjunct Ceres in Gate 13 ~ Where did you have your natural boundaries breached when you were a child? In what way did you learn that you had to do or say or be something other than what you truly are? That breach becomes a source of constant aggravation, as you struggle to protect the richness of your inner space from outside influences. This week you get to do a full repair job that leaves you free to connect with others from the heart with no fear of dreadful repercussions.
Spleen Centre
Saturn conjunct Haumea ~ When we listen to our body’s intuitive responses we are able to move slowly and steadily towards health and wholeness. Right now our bodies are shedding the toxicity of outmoded emotions and thoughts. Drink lots of fresh clear water, allow the past to leave your physicality.
Solar Plexus Centre
On the 18th February we have a Full Moon in Gate 29, opposite a Full House in Gate 30 in the Solar Plexus Centre. The Sun, Mars and Neptune will all be in Gate 30. Mercury shifts into Gate 30 a few hours later to join them, and Chiron is a hairsbreadth away in Gate 55. We are learning that our emotions are our friends, not something to be feared.
These gates are about learning to make choices based on the higher knowing that comes from emotional clarity. When we make choices in this way we can commit ourselves to each moment, body and soul, because we know they are absolutely right for us. We don’t worry about other options we had to say no to, and we don’t concern ourselves with where our choice will lead us.
Jupiter is opening our minds to new neural pathways, gently guiding our egos past old mental blocks (17). Pluto (58) and Venus (38) in the Root Centre are taking us out past our comfort zone, helping us to develop an inner consistency and grounded centre regardless of how far from home we may feel.
Be very gentle with yourself, this is a profound time of cellular change.

Since yesterday, I have had different memories pass through me with all their accompanying emotion. Potent memories of landmark experiences with immediate family members (mom, dad, brother). I found myself thinking, “something is being processed here” Each contemplation on a memory seemed to lead to another.
My truth speaking voice is at the core of who I am and a good part of my teenage and 20 something years were about fighting for it, honoring it in a family that found it threatening and tended to see it as a sign of mental illness. I just got off the phone with my mom (I am 36 now). Though there has certainly been improvement and growth over the years (on her part and mine) I am always struck in a profoundly sad way by how my own awareness, maturity, wisdom, ability to communicate is so much more advanced than my own mother’s and has been for a long time. I say that not in an egotistical way but with an intense and sad wish/longing for a mother who could provide me with the elder wisdom and awareness and comfort my child self still longs/aches for.
Its a week since you wrote about your sadness re your mum not able to provide you with “elder wisdom” and I can empathise with you closely Sara. Though my mum was caring, cheerful and kind, I too felt a longing to have her be my wise elder and found myself in the last 10 or so years being just that for her (I am 63 and she just passed recently at 95). I was fortunate to have met some other wise women elders in my life to nurture my spirit. when I complained to my older psychotherapist in the 80’s about this very aspect of our mother/daughter relationship, her reply was that it is quite usual for the younger generation to “outgrow” the older one, something to this effect, and at the time it was comforting. all the best and love your little girl heaps!
thank you for sharing mariana~ i appreciate it.
Oh Sara, how much I can share theese feelings with you!
I have ten years more than you… and I found a way to handle that “lack” … which is not as such.
Because I found out that on one hand she gave the best she knew (and this was a lot!) and the rest is up to me . The so called lack that you feel is the opportunitiy for you to fill it with your desires, with your point of view upon life! What a chance!
Hoping and wishing you the very best and new ways, own paths to follow your dream of life. Which will always be special! As you are.
Huge hug, Ulrike
Thank you Ulrike, and big hugs happen to be what I long for a lot these days! So your offer of one is perfect.
I just realized as I re-read my post that I forgot to mention that I was particularly responding to Kim’s section on the Ji Center which connects with what I said above.
Best~ Sara
yeah! exactly – and it will lead you to YOUR FREEDOM!!!!
all the best for you, Sara! Love Ulrike
Sara that is so beautiful in a bitter sweet way. The stories of women are so rarely told, and I think this is something that a lot of women experience. Thank you so much for sharing it.
Mercury and Ceres are in a gate and channel that represents completion of long term emotional cycles. Many of us will be talking about the past and finding we can put something to rest, especially around communication with our mothers.
Thank you Sara for your sharing …and yes, Kim, I can support your thought thanks to my own experience of relating with my mother …..and yes I do feel that my communication with her is now more at a supportive level….only yesterday did I find myself reassuring her that she was doing ok and I felt so heartful 🙂 In love.
