The Secrets Revealed by your Holographic Human Design

Using progressed planets in Human Design helps track personal evolution over time, revealing how your energy shifts and changes. Unlike Human Design Life Cycles, which show how we are influenced by external events, Progressions in Human Design reveals our unique internal blueprint as it unfurls over the course of our life.

Do you ever have those times in your life when you can’t figure out what’s going on?

You can be doing everything right with your Human Design strategy, but there’s still this feeling of something deep shifting. Maybe you can feel things changing and can’t explain it, even to yourself. And so, you’re not sure what to do about it. A lot of people are anxious that maybe they’re imagining it.

Progressions in Human Design

I wanted to be able to help all the people who come to me asking – what’s going on for me right now!! So I went exploring, and found a popular astrological technique called Progressions. And, after many years of research and experimentation I adapted it to Human Design.

I call it the Holographic Human Design layer. Why?

It’s because your chart is a snapshot of the position of the planets at the time you were born. But as important as that moment in time was, the world did keep turning and the planets kept orbiting.

When we can see our progressed planets in Human Design, we can see what’s going on for us right now. Holographic Human Design is like a secret sauce you can add to your usual Human Design chart.

The planets in your standard Human Design chart don’t move. Your chart will always remain exactly the same. However, there are many LAYERS in Human Design, and your standard Human Design chart is the main (but not the only) layer. 

Your Holographic Layer follows the movement of the planets for the first few months after you were born and writes the story of your life in the seeds of your early experience. 

Its as if the planets jump off your standard Human Design chart into another layer, where they continue to move forward, very slowly, in a pattern that is unique to you. In fact, that’s exactly what happens!

Human Design Life Cycle Analysis

Your Holographic Human Design chart is different to the Human Design Life Cycles. They both reveal the cyclical nature of personal development through the lens of Human Design. Things like your Uranus opposition, Chiron return, and Saturn returns are important, but they show how our lives are impacted by external events.

It’s part of the story, but not ALL of the story.

When we explore the Holographic Human Design chart layer – based on the astrological progressed planets – we are tracking something extraordinary – our internal soul growth patterning throughout this lifetime.

Your Holographic Human Design Chart shows

• what is happening for you right now (or at any given specific time in your life)
• your larger life cycles – the big picture sweep of your personal evolutionary coding in precise detail.
• much more specific information than looking at your standard HD chart alone.

Your Holographic Human Design chart layer is constantly changing. The planets are always progressing, very slowly. You can create a Holographic layer chart for any moment in your life – the day you were married, or launched your business, the very moment you took that first flying lesson!

Your Holographic Human Design shows your internal filters and how they change over time. If your Holographic (progressed) Mars moves from Gate 63 in the Head Centre to Gate 22 in the Solar Plexus Centre when you are 38 years old, your passions will shift from seeking inspiration (Head Centre) to desiring emotional clarity (Solar Plexus Centre).

Your Holographic Planets

When we talk about your Holographic Planets, it’s the same as the Progressed Planets in astrology – except that I’ve adapted this astrological technique to Human Design.

Each Holographic, or progressed, planet has a particular influence on your life.

Your Holographic Lunar Cycle (your progressed Moon) shows your evolutionary edge for emotional development – what you have relied on to feel happy and safe, but which you’ve now outgrown. The Holographic Moon moves through about 3 or 4 gates each year of your life, so each year you can easily see what’s coming up for you in your emotional growth.

Your Holographic Solar Cycle (your progressed Sun) shifts every 6 years. About 80% of the people who come to me for their first reading are starting a new solar cycle, they intuitively know something profoundly important is changing in their lives. Each of these 6 year cycles brings you new challenges and opportunities for personal development.

Without knowing what’s going on in your Holographic Human Design Layer, you have only your everyday Human Design strategy to rely on, and perhaps some inputs from the transits. One woman I worked with came to me because she was so emotional all the time, and this was new for her with her undefined Solar Plexus Centre. We checked her Holographic layer and found an emotional manifestor channel had become active! It didn’t change her primary Type or Authority, but it did give her an understanding that the next few years would bring her gifts out of a newfound skill in waiting for emotional clarity.

When you can recognise how a client’s design develops over time, you’re no longer trying to fit them back into who they were. You’re learning to read who they’re becoming.
