With the Sun and Venus both in the Gate of Recuperating (40) you may be wondering today how to meet your own needs while making sure everything gets done. Watch for a split between your wild and civilized selves, it’s a good day for them to have a conversation about what you really want in life. Some of those civilized shackles can go!

 

From now until Jan 2012 we’re going on a journey to rediscover our original innocence.

Ceres has touched upon our innocence (25) and it’s need for nourishment and nurturing, and now we are returning to a place where our innocence may feel locked into a difficult physical reality (36). While this is going on, Jupiter is retrograde in the gate of going back again and again to a problem, wanting to find a solution (24).

My feeling is that we will be dealing with a deep and until now largely unconscious desire to punish ourselves (Saturn conjunct Haumea in 48/57) for not being pleasing enough to our mothers and to a lesser degree our fathers. Deep issues of deservability and a willful neglect of our own nourishment and nurturing are up for healing.

The bigger picture is that we are learning how to make our own way in the world without the need to please others.
