As the moon passes over the Piscean gates of Grace (22) and Darkening of the Light (36) today, there may be intense emotional experiences that drag us back into the past. How can you be present with this process and at the same time be totally accepting, loving and compassionate to the part of you that is learning how to be in an entirely new reality?
This is the balancing act that Saturn in the Gate of the Well (48) asks of us. The well is clear and the water is fresh and clean, we can allow our guiding awareness to be strong and bright enough to illuminate its depths, to nourish us.
As Jupiter shifts to the Gate of Returning today, we can accept that we are on the right pathway but may be looking back rather than forwards. Although we may feel blocked just now we can trust that at the very least we are able to put down our roots into the field of possibilities.
So true. the new reality is layered. The actual experience “was putting down our roots into the field of possibilities” that the past brought back. And Aries moon added a new layer to the past.
It’s a lovely image, I like it a lot! Very Gate 46: where the little seedling is buried down in the dirt heading instinctively for the warmth and light of the sun without being able to really know that it is heading in the right direct. Trust!

I have gate 48 and it sure stood me in good stead last Tuesday as I had a spontaneous and momentous flood of tears that released a whole layer of bottled up pressure (read self-cntrol) that I had internalized from my father. A dear friend was there quietly, patiently through it with me and I feel so much lighter, cleraer and more joyful since then. More spontaneous too with bursts of laughter and exclamations. It never ceases to amaze me how we are “upheld” guided… by that part of ourselves that is so much more than “me”… with love and gratitude for your posts – I love these short, to the point ones, Mary

Liz Greene says in her book on Saturn – A New Look At An Old Devil – that one aspect of Saturn is that explosive energy you describe, that releases the self control. And Saturn is in Gate 48 just now.
Also, the Earth is in the Gate of Limitations and that helps us see where we create too many limitations for ourselves when they just aren’t necessary. My teenage daughter is helping me with this one just now .. lol.
