It’s a (family) secret

1st October 2010

I’m taking a moment out of the craziness to write and let you know … about the craziness.

Sun conjunct Saturn (both in line 5 today) shining a light into the depths of the family vault of secrets.  Aiding and abetting is Jupiter conjunct Uranus (both in gate 36 today) literally blasting apart any doors previously jammed shut to prevent emotional issues escaping into the light.

And then there’s Mercury, which just moved into the Solar Plexus Centre bringing our conscious attention to any emotion at all that may be affecting us in relation to others.  Conflict may erupt unexpectedly and out of left field.  If you look closely it’s likely to be deeply embedded in the field of multi-generational family drama.

If you see it, accept that this is it’s last hurrah and allow it to leave your life gracefully you’ll move through it all pretty well.

  1. Thank you for this, I felt like I was totally lost today, or rather at a loss for how to help my kids. The intensity and the anger and the fighting. . . man I just had no idea how to handle it in the slightest! So I did a LOT of breathing. seems like maybe the best thing I could have done. 🙂

My son who is the only one in the family with an open solar plexus was the most out of control, saying he was angry and frustrated but having no idea why (he’s also a MG). Is it possible he was sensing and expressing more of what was being released “out there” and not so much just what was coming from our family? Or, well, you know I think MGs in our family have been typically forced down and misunderstood and over medicated. So maybe it was just all from our family. . .

    1. I’m sure it wasn’t. When I wrote this post Kathryn both my teenagers were sitting around me screaming at each other .. lol! The 1/3 profile only seeing her own point of view, the 1/4 profile with the undefined solar plexus angry that she wouldn’t do it his way. I left them to it and wrote the post. lol! My kids pick up a lot of archetypal /auric /multidimensional stuff. I’m sure yours do to. But having said that, there is some deep and sticky family based stuff leaving just now and yesterday was definitely a release point. It’s much calmer here today 🙂

  2. Thank you! and I just have to say how I love the green crazy headed lobster face that is my picture up there. VERY appropriate for yesterday!!! Gave me a good chuckle. 🙂

  3. Hi again – and we must not forget the returning Mars conj stationary Venus. What inspiration and deeper wishes is coming forth. And Eros is part of the story with an even deeper need for a touch of human interaction.

    In peace
    Olav

    1. thx Olav, yes very delicious indeed! Venus retrograde has us beginning a 2 month journey to discover what we value in ourselves, what we value in others, and what beauty and harmony we need in our lives to love life.

  4. Thanks, Kim.

I’ve got Venus conjunct Sun natally, so it felt like a familiar energy (Mars & Venus in Scorpio, now THAT added an edgy, fiery intensity :)).

Also have the open solar plex mentioned – for me, it’s like a vacuum cleaner or radar for others’ projected or suppressed emotion (so if ‘acted out’, it might reflect what others are feeling below the surface).

Good mention of the Mars-Venus conjunction. I found this just a bit ago on the opportunity:

“… we are about to enter (between now and May 2011), is ideally, at the middle conjunction, “a significant turning point in one’s emotional life and provides an opportunity to change one’s values and to find a deeper spiritual significance to one’s individual actions”. (3)”

Given that Venus is stationing, it seems we have a choice of whether to engage in the opportunity for metamorphosis or continue on with the old patterns and cycling through relationships accordingly. Wild.

    We’re living quite a bit. 🙂
