16th December 2010
I must be crazy … crazzz eeeyy. And my excuse? An upcoming solstice preceded by a Galactic Centre activation and accompanied by a full lunar eclipse. Feel free to lose the plot anytime you like. Actually, you probably won’t be surprised to know that there is a huge opportunity to make a choice wrapped up in this package. It’s almost as if the conductor is calling “All Aboard” and we’re prevaricating. Do we want to leave behind the devil we know and set out for new lands? Is that ticket to ride that’s burning a hole in our pocket a winner? Or perhaps something more sinister?
Let’s see if we can map out some of this new territory and make the choice a bit easier.
Firstly, let me say that the December Solstice (summer here for us in Australia, winter for many of you), is always preceded by the Sun passing over the Galactic Centre at 27 Sagittarius. Think of it as an early Christmas present each year, as we are all impulsed with at least one amazing idea that probably manifests weeks later as a new years resolution.
Secondly, the solstice always occurs in Gate 10 line 2, or occasionally in line 1. It talks about treading calmly and without attachment to the world, not trying to have any effect on others but simply living in your own truth.
This year the North Node happens to be transiting in Gate 10 as well, adding the flavour of an unknown destiny to the mix. We also have the lunar eclipse which is not a usual fixture. Eclipses in astrology are portals that allow something new to enter our reality. A lunar eclipse is about being able to receive in order to find greater integration of self. In our culture we are so out of balance towards giving that many of us have lost the ability to be still and simply receive unconditionally. This imbalance affects us on all levels as lack (not receiving), loss (doing without) and greed (trying to take by force what we felt naturally entitled to but were unable to unconditionally receive). In this milieu we have begun to confuse taking with receiving. Which creates problems because the act of taking comes from the mental/ego self while the ability to receive comes from the soul.
I’m doing research on the endocrine system just at the moment and it is so obvious how these factors also have a profound effect on our physical health and emotional wellbeing.
Overall, what’s happening now is that we are descending into our physicality. When I say ‘descending’ I’m talking about anchoring much higher densities of love and light into our bodies than they’ve ever experienced before. Notice I say love and light, it’s the combination of the two coming in at once that is creating that swirly feeling of not knowing which way is up. As we stitch duality back together, love and light become entwined until we can no longer see them as separate. Masculine and feminine, heart and mind, body and soul, time and space, good and evil all swirl and blend until there is only heaven on earth.
In terms of the activations to the Spleen Centre, this is opening up our ability to communicate with others and discern the truth in entirely new ways. Our bodies are basically communication centres that have been largely shut off from their true expansive capacity to interact with life.
Which means that the gifts we mastered in previous lives have not been readily available for us to share. Leaving us all impoverished, trapped, in a sense, without access to our soul wisdom.
This year at the Solstice, the Sun makes strong astrological connections to Uranus, Neptune, Chiron, Makemake, Juno, Kassandra and Magdalena as it passes over the Galactic Centre and moves towards it’s date with the Moon. Chiron and Neptune (30.3) together give a natural sense of the unified reality from which the world of form derives and to which it eventually returns (Melanie Reinhart). Makemake brings us new skills for creating such an abundant material reality that it looks like impossible magic to those who take a more “logical” view.
Juno and Magdalena are seeking equality – Juno in relationship and Magdalena in spiritual leadership. They are both seeking to be reunited with the beloved, in whatever form that takes. What they hold in common with Kassandra is a desire to have their voices heard without having to compromise to old and outmoded ideas of what constitutes the feminine, and without succumbing to the power issues inherent in gender roles in our communities.
All three are seeking to be given the time and space to honour and be receptive to the inner self, a rare commodity for most of us most of the time.
Pan is conjunct the Moon at the moment the Sun touches the Galactic Centre. He brings in the juicy masculine who has a powerful and receptive relationship to the feminine, the soul and nature. He is nothing like the masculine informed by harsh rationality.
Trans Neptunian Object Logos (6.4) and Atlantis (46.2) make themselves obvious as well. Our desire for love is being syphoned off and used to keep us in thrall to the apparent economic miracle of capitalism to provide everything we could possibly need. I’m also noticing a rise in the awareness of the effect of cult thinking. You’re either in or out and only those who are in will be loved and saved (Damocles, Nessus and Orpheus in 13.5). Watch for apparently logical information that somehow squeezes your heart dry while weirdly appealing to your mind. This is a glamour and delusion that is leaving the planet as our body and heart come together to inform us of multidimensional truth.
There really is a simple underlying principle at work here. You are nourished at the soul level and that nourishment flows down into every aspect of your life. It doesn’t stop at the Crown, at the mind or heart. It goes right down through your toes, into the heart of the earth and then wells back up, full of love, to nourish you afresh. There is no lack when we live in this place. There is no need for struggle, or to experience loss or greed. We have chosen the golden ticket for this experience and each one of us can choose whether we take the ride.

Thank you Kim! another pan-dimmensional post that calls us to wakefulness (it is pretty early in the morning here but that isnt what I mean). ‘The ability to receive comes from the soul.’ – so very true, and though our hearts long for this simple act our encultured ego-defences have twisted us out of shape until it becomes nearly impossible. I feel pretty twisted out of shape, which I think is a good start- and welcome the sensations of untangling. Just saying ‘yes’ or ‘thank you’ from the soul, knowing that the giving and the receiving are one sacred life-supporting act nourishes the heart. This Solstice feels like a pretty exciting party, one not to miss or spend in the kitchen!
With love and gratitude, Anna.
Brilliant. Love this interpretation on the swirly-whirly-bird shapeshifting energies of Now. (Yep, definitely feeling those!). Thanks for sharing.
Love,
